Shipping and Return Policies

Crazy Horse will ship your items placed by 5:00PM EST on the next business day including Saturday but excluding holidays. During the summer season, May through October, items will be shipped directly from the store located on Mackinac Island MI. In the winter season items will be shipped from other locations, currently Southern California.
Return Policy
Crazy Horse Online will accept returns is notified within 48 hours of receiving and returned within 5 days based on the following:
For 43 years, Crazy Horse has maintained a merchandise exchange only return policy with very little resistance from our customers. However, we understand that items purchased online will never replace the experience of doing it in person. Although we will continue our existing policies for items purchased from our store located on Mackinac Island, we offer the following for items purchased from our online store:

Damage or Defects

We polish, inspect and photograph every piece prior to shipping. If you find damage or defects, please contact us immediately and we will make arrangements for the item shipped back to us. Please remember that most of our products use materials from nature. Nature produces stones and shells with character and charm, not defects!


If you decide to return an item that doesn't fit or you are simply not satisfied with, you must:

1.) Notify us via email within 48 hours after our postal tracking shows that you have received the delivery. We will provide you with a mailing address for the return.

2.) Return the item postmarked must within 5 days from the day you received the delivery.

3.) The item must show no sign of use and must have all tags attached and unaltered.

Once we receive the item and confirm the above, we will refund your payment method card in the full amount. If we find otherwise from the above, we will immediately contact you to resolve.

We highly recommend that you insure your return postage to the value of the item being returned and obtain a tracking number for the delivery. We do provide free shipping to you on orders over $75, however return postage will be your responsibility.

Holiday Returns

We don't want your holiday gifts to have the time to return expire while sitting under the tree! So on orders placed between December 1st and Christmas, we will use December 25th as your receive date. Then if you need to do a return, contact us by the Dec. 27th and ship back to us by the Dec. 30th.
